A typical magnetic pickup for automotive applications will provide a thousand pulses per mile so that at\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e60 mph\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ethe incoming frequency will be\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e16.6Hz\u003c\/strong\u003e.
